Wellington High School
Career and Technical Education
CTE Pathways
The Wellington High School Career Technology Education Program has implemented several pathways that follow the National Career Cluster model which has been adopted by the State of Kansas.
These pathways are designed to provide a smooth transition from high school to post-secondary education (technical colleges, community colleges, and universities), apprenticeship opportunities, the military, and/or to the workplace.
Stakeholders from education, as well as business and industry developed the courses offered within the pathway. To be a concentrator for a pathway and earn a credential in that area a student must earn at least 3 credits in the pathway.
